Healthcare Training

Our industry leading healthcare training has been mapped to meet the criteria stated in the Core Skills Training Framework to allow our workforce to provide safe and compassionate healthcare.

We provide training coverage throughout the UK and deliver training to over 8,000 healthcare professionals every year. We have flexible in-house training options available for each of our courses.

Our experienced and dedicated training team have a combined 50 years' + experience delivering healthcare training to professionals working in both hospital and community settings. Our team has an NPS of +93, which is a testament to the excellence we aim to deliver across all of our courses.

 

Mental Health First aid course (Accredited)

Become an accredited mental health first aider and learn the skills to support individuals that are experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including how to support someone in crisis.

 

Mental health awareness course

Increase the mental wellbeing of your workforce through this half day mental health awareness course. Candidates will learn the causes and impacts of mental health conditions, as well as the ability to identify the key signs and symptoms of someone who is suffering from deteriorating mental health.

 

Basic Life support Course (Adults and Paediatric)

Mapped to meet CSTF Criteria and inline with UKRC Guidance 2021. Candidates will Learn the essential skills to support both Adults and Children in a life-threatening condition. Can be aimed to suit any industry.

 

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

Our course gives learners the skills and confidence to respond to a variety of accidents and first aid emergencies they could encounter in the workplace. Candidates will gain an in-depth understanding of the importance of recognising when a casualty may need first aid, providing lifesaving interventions and getting qualified help without delay. This course is mapped against the UKRC Guidance 2021.

 

Fire Safety

This course raises awareness of the dangers associated with fire, explaining practical steps that can be taken to minimise and potentially take control of the risks fire presents. The course can be customised to meet the needs for any organisation, enabling candidates to understand detailed policies and procedures unique to their role.

 

 

Conflict Resolution

It is vital that all staff feel safe whilst at work. Violent and aggressive behaviour can have an adverse effect on staff and impact negatively on the standards of practice or service. Our course aims to provide candidates with the tools to understand conflict and why it happens, to learn how our communication can affect scenarios and how to de-escalate situations. Practical session can also be added to understand and learn the techniques needed to keep employees safe.

 

Moving & Handling (Level 1 & 2)

Moving & Handling can play a large part in employees’ day to day roles, so getting it right is imperative. Our course covers all the fundamentals from learning how our spines work, risk assessing situations, legislation with practical assessments using equipment to give the candidates the best experience. The course can be fully customised to meet the needs for any organisation. It has been created in line with the Skills for Care (Core Skills Framework) and The National Back Exchange and updated in line with the Covid-19 guidance.
