Espirita Shortlisted for the HealthInvestor Awards 2022
The Espirita team will be attending the prestigious HealthInvestor Awards 2022, having been shortlisted for their work with Remote Medical International on the innovative mobile COVID-19 testing laboratories that helped save hundreds of lives and prevent thousands of new infections throughout the pandemic.

Commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), the project saw mobiles labs being deployed anywhere in England and Wales in areas of high COVID-19 incidence or critical events within hours of incidents being reported. Remote Medical International (RMI) and Acacium Group established a project team that was able to recruit 80 logistical and support staff and over 155 scientific and non-scientific staff in a period of just eight weeks, this included staff at NHS Bands 3, 5, 6 and 9.
In just the first four months of operations, the project achieved over 14,400 hours of training, 69,900 hours of operational deployment, 43,000 COVID-19 tests delivered and 8,700 positive cases identified, ensuring that key infrastructure and government functions were able to operate during the pandemic.
